Never a minute that Tommy couldn't find a reason to make you smile. I haven't seen him in quite some time but I do remember the good times with him and Karen.
Sounds like Tommy stayed true to Tommy all through his life. That’s a good thing. Going way back, I remember when I was a brand new teacher and my first teaching job was in Dell City. I taught business classes and that included Typing. Tommy was in his senior year. We were just starting out and I was telling the kids that they could tell the right side of the paper to type on by holding their paper up to the light to see the watermark. Tommy immediately stood up, climbed onto his chair and “held his paper up to the light.” What could I say?! The whole year went like that. I would never forget Tommy Shirley! God bless him. May he rest In peace.
