I didn’t know Mr. David Thomas all that well I did work for him a few times when I was struggling financially and he always had a job for me especially before the holidays. I met David through my uncle Frank Maldonado (RIP) and my Dad Daniel Maldonado. David took very good care of my family while they worked for him, helped them any and every way. David Thomas was very funny guy and I wish I had the pleasure of working for him as long as my uncle and dad did, they never had a bad thing to say about him. The best moment I remember was the last time I helped them strip cotton I lost my job and David let me help them finish up I worked maybe 1 month or 2 and he paid me $15 an hour which is the most I ever made an hour to this day and when we finish he said what you gonna do now, I said idk and tried to get out of the pickup and he said hold on and gave me a bonus of $600 for just a few weeks, I was very great full and that helped a lot. I thank him for opertunties and help, he had a great heart may he Rest In Peace. Good good guy he will be missed.
