Memorial services for Lillian Christine (Bradley) Scott, 76, of Amarillo, TX, were held at 9:30 am, Thursday, July 5, 2012, in the Paramount Baptist Church, Amarillo, TX, with Rev. Lance Herrington officiating. The family received friends following the service in the Fireside Room at the church. Graveside services followed at 3:00 pm in the Abernathy Cemetery with Rev. Mike O'Donnell officiating. The family received friends in the fellowship Hall of the Abernathy First Baptist Church following the graveside service. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Scott died Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Amarillo. She was born August 1, 1935 in Abilene, TX to James Burrell Bradley and Willie Ruth (Hatler) Bradley. She was raised in Abernathy, and was a longtime Amarillo resident. She was a member of the Paramount Baptist Church and the Amarillo Parkinson's Support Group. She was a loving mother and wife and was a very talented with art, needle work and handiwork and quilting. She is survived by her husband Frank Scott of Amarillo, TX, a son, Kenneth Scott and his wife Karla of Luling, LA, a daughter, Jaimie Wilkinson of Amarillo, 5 grandchildren, Joshua Benge and his wife Rene, Kelsey Scott, Matt Morgan and his wife Jenny, Jacie Morgan and Molly Morgan, 3 great grandchildren, Kamia and Caleb Benge and Jaelynn Morgan, 2 brothers, Carroll Bradley of Abernathy and Calvin Bradley of Amarillo and 2 sisters, Colleen Cecil and Cherylene Vandygriff both of Abernathy, TX. The family suggests memorials be sent to the Amarillo Parkinson's Support Group, P. O. Box 19721, Amarillo, TX 79114. Abell Funeral Home
