Imogene Elizabeth (Myatt) Bryant Imogene Bryant went to be with her Lord on June 28, 2012. She was born in Fannin County, Bonham, TX on July 30, 1925. Funeral services were Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 10:00am at the Abernathy Church of Christ, burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy. She moved to County Line, TX in 1928. She attended County Line schools from 1st grade to 8th grade. She then attended and graduated from Abernathy High School in 1943. She married W.C. Bryant on April 12, 1947 in Lubbock, TX. They lived in Matador, TX for one year and then moved to Abernathy, TX. She was a member of the Abernathy Church of Christ where she taught the 2 and 3 year old bible class for 25 years. Imogene was preceded in death by her mother and father, Jack and Sally Myatt and her brothers, Lindell & J.H. Myatt. Her survivors include her husband, W.C. of Abernathy, TX, daughters, Carolyn Goodwin (James) of Lubbock, TX and Cathy Andrews of LaMarque, TX and son Larry Bryant (Dana) of Abernathy, TX, grandchildren Damon (Tiffany), Davin, and Lora Andrews all of the Houston, TX area, Krista Gibson (Phil) of Little Elm, TX, Erin Cillessen (Duane) of Alto, NM, and Magan King (Shiloh) of Lubbock, TX, two step-grandchildren Jamie Kuykendall (Joe) of Ardmore, OK, and Jeff Goodwin (Tracy) of Louisville, KY, nine great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. The family requests memorials be sent to Children's Home of Lubbock, 4404 Idalou Road, Lubbock, TX 79403 or to the Texas Boys Ranch, 4810 NCR 2800, Lubbock, TX 79404. Abell Funeral Home
