Burial followed services in the Arkadelphia Cemetery, New Boston, TX, under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Davis died on Tuesday, May 14, 2002, in Lubbock, TX. She was born on November 1, 1922 in New Boston, TX. She married A. J. Davis in 1985 in Plainview, TX. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2001. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Blonzie Brown, September 1994. Survived by; 3 sons, Eddie Smith, Jr. of Abilene, TX, Henry Smith of Waco, TX and Benny Smith of Killeen, TX. 4 daughters, JoAnn Wade of Hale Center, TX, Ella Hager of Los Angeles, CA, Edna Davis of Abilene, TX, and Mary Jones of Wichita Falls, TX. 1 brother, O. D.
