Alfredo Gomez Vasquez, 78 of Abernathy, TX, died December 21, 2024 in Abernathy. Cremation services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Vasquez was born June 4, 1946 to Lorenzo and Matiana (Gomez) Vasquez in Batesville, TX. Alfredo was raised and lived in the Batesville area before moving to Abernathy in 2018. He worked in the agriculture industry. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Lazaro Vasquez, Wenceslaus Vasquez, Consuelo Gonzales, Victor Vasquez, Lucia Martinez, David Vasquez, Gilberto Vasquez, and Felipe Vasquez. Alfredo is survived by a brother Rogelia Vasquez of Abernathy, and a sister Victoria Ruiz of Hale Center, TX. No services are planned at this time.
