Graveside Services for Patricia Harrell, 76, of Abernathy, TX will be held at 2;00 pm Monday, November 25, 2024, in the Abernathy Cemetery with Tanner Belliveau, officiating. The family will gather to receive family and friends from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Abell Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy. Mrs. Harrell died Friday, November 22, 2024, in Abernathy. She was born on May 3, 1948 to Roy Barton and Billie (Lawson) Brewer. Patricia was fortunate to have a second Mom, her step-mother, Mary Barton. Patricia married Henry Harrell on February 23, 1963 in Lubbock. They moved to the Abernathy area in 1964. Patricia was an avid sports fan of her grandchildren and loved supporting the Abernathy Antelopes. She worked at Grinnell, retiring from TYCO after 30 years of service. While always a hard worker, she was a lovable mom, always caring for her kids. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Henry Harrell on January 28, 2013, brother Rodney Barton, and sister Twyla Barton. She is survived by 4 children Ronald Moe Harrell and wife, Kristy, of New Deal, TX, Tammy Brewer and husband, Pete, of White River Lake, TX, Becky Beattie and husband, David of Lubbock, and Kevin Harrell and wife, Lindsay, of Abernathy. She was Nana to her 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Stacy Barton Lawson of Lubbock. The family requests memorials be sent to Hospice of the South Plains, 4413 82nd St., Lubbock, TX 79424 and wishes to extend a special thanks to Kenna, Elizabeth, and Mary for their loving care.
