It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Bobbie Irene Baze, who peacefully departed this world on September 21, 2024.
Born January 16, 1928, on her family's farm near New Deal, Texas, Bobbie lived a life filled with love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family and the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hall and Nellie Looney; her loving husband, Grady P. Baze; her siblings, Myers Looney (Brother), Eva Belle Slaton (Sister), Marvin Looney (Brother), and Perry Looney (Brother); and two of her three children, Irene Carlisle (Daughter) and Terry Baze (Son).
Bobbie is survived by her son, Clifford Baze, and his wife, Doris, as well as her seven grandchildren: James Hartless, Bobbie Hartless, Grady Carlisle, Frank Carlisle, Matthew Baze, Ryan Baze, and Austin Baze. She also leaves behind twenty-five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory within them.
Bobbie will be remembered for her kindness, strength, resilience, and boundless love for life and her family. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome, whether through her homemade pies and cookies or her gentle words of encouragement. She was the heart of her family, and her nurturing presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
In addition to being a dedicated mother and grandmother, Bobbie pursued many passions throughout her life. She found joy in gardening, sewing, stamp collecting with her husband, camping with family, and cooking meals that brought loved ones together. Bobbie cherished her travels across different states, embracing the beauty of nature, and her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and love.
Her faith was central to her life, providing strength and solace. Bobbie's grace and compassion inspired those around her to live with gratitude, kindness, and an emphasis on family and friendship.
As we gather to celebrate the extraordinary life of Ms. Bobbie Baze, we find comfort in knowing that her love and light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. We invite everyone who shared in her journey to join us in honoring her memory and celebrating the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
Though Bobbie will be deeply missed, her spirit endures in the love she imparted to so many. Rest in peace, Ms. Bobbie Baze. Thank you for enriching our lives in immeasurable ways.
