I loved visiting with Perry when we would see him at the steakhouse in Abernathy or come across your folks in Lubbock like at the White Pig or just visiting about farming. I did have the pleasure of attending a Northcrest reunion years ago and enjoyed listening to the stories. Your folks were a good friends to my folks and grandparents. I don't remember ever seeing Perry when he wasn't upbeat. Always had a positive outlook and ready to conquer the world. And I really enjoyed seeing him out with Wanda in her last year, how he stayed beside her and helped her get around. Truly good folks!

To Renay, Rendy, and family, I extend to you my most heartfelt sympathy. Perry and Wanda were dear friends of the Mobley family. So many happy memories from attending New Deal, Center, and Northcrest Churches together. My parents and I enjoyed the "get togethers" with fellow church members at your parents' home on Sunday nights after Center Church service. There would be hot dogs and more than one freezer of homemade ice cream! A precious memory was when your parents hosted the only Northcrest Church Reunion and an Open House of their brand new beautiful home. Wanda was expecting Rendy at that time. It was a most blessed happy Sunday and I will always cherish that! Perry is now having a second Northcrest Reunion in Heaven with his family and Northcrest friends.
