A Celebration of Remembrance for Phil will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Friday, May 20th, 2022, at the Gaillardia Country Club, 5300 Gaillardia Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK. Phil was born June 22, 1958 in Jasper, AL. He lived and grew up in El Paso, Texas. He then met and married Shari Dawn Teal, July 24,1981 at her family farm in New Deal. While playing basketball on a scholarship, he earned a bachelor's degree at Tulsa University. He was proud to be a Golden Hurricane. Phil continued his love for basketball by coaching for 4 years. He then went on to be a locker room manager at both Amarillo Country Club for 17 years, and Gaillardia Country Club for 15 years. Phil was truly everyone's best friend. He had an infectious personality that made everyone feel on top of the world anytime they were around him. Phil loved to "cut up" with everyone, especially his family, friends, and the country club members who he considered his 2nd family. His pride and joy was his family and their happiness came first. Phil is preceded in death by a son, Beefy Spradling. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Shari Spradling, a daughter, Brittany Wolf and her husband Josh and 2 sweet grandsons, Luke and Beau Wolf all of Windthorst, TX and a sister, Rita Hardison of Oklahoma. The family suggests donations could be made to assist with funeral expenses.
