A Memorial Service for Frances Beatrice Boling, 97, of Lubbock, TX, will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Quaker Avenue Church of Christ with David Langford officiating. A Graveside service will precede the Memorial Service, at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Idalou Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Boling passed away after a lengthy illness on October 20,2021 at her home. She was born on their family ranch April 25,1924 in Hale Center,TX to Willie and Ethel (Thomas) Harrington. She graduated from Idalou High School and Draughon’s Business College. Beatrice Harrington met the love of her life, M.L. Boling at a Christmas party while he was stationed at Reese Fir Force Base in Lubbock and married him on April 6, 1945.
 Beatrice was a member of Quaker Avenue Church of Christ, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Beatrice was a homemaker and secretary to M.L. In his appliance business. In 1976 she went to work for Litton Industries and worked there until 1983. From 1984 until 1992 she worked at the Dunlap's Department store in alterations. She loved to babysit her Grands! Gardening, Sewing, Painting and Crocheting. She was the best cook and is famous for her chocolate fudge and her mean game of 42 dominoes. She was always asking and interested in all her kids and grands. . . what they were doing and what they enjoyed. She was sharp as a tack and knew exactly how to keep her family in line.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, M.L. Boling in 2003, son, Richard Boling in 1954, a grandson, Jeffery Boling in 1992, step-great grandson, Jonathan Morris in 2019, and 3 brothers, Kenneth Harrington, Ralph Harrington and Leslie Harrington. She is survived 3 children, Larry Boling and wife, Robin of Lubbock, Dwayne Boling and wife, Doris of Willis, TX and Thelma Gaddis and husband, Ron of Ransom Canyon, TX, 5 grandchildren, Tina Roach, Cristy Hatter, Dan Boling, Bryan Gaddis, and Brent Gaddis, 4 step-grandchildren, Jesse James Morris, Danny Morris, Vince Mayon and Briann Mayon and 14 great-grandchildren, Cheylbi Gengo, Jessica Nichols, Hunter Roach, Patrick Morris, Emma Hatter, Alee Hatter, Cameron Gaddis, Cale Gaddis, Elaine Boling, Violet Boling, Lorelai Boling, Asher Boling, Grayson Gaddis & Brooklyn Gaddis
