Funeral services for Ramon P. Trevino, SR., 74, of Abernathy, TX were held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 15, 2007, in the One Cross Three Nails Fellowship on Jerome Street in Abernathy, TX. Burial followed services in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Trevino died Sunday, February 11, 2007, in Lubbock, TX. He was born in McAllen, TX on September 10, 1932. He married Elida Ramirez in 1950 in McAllen. They moved their family to Abernathy in 1960 from Mart, TX. He was a member of One Cross Three Nails Fellowship. He was preceded in death by 2 children, Reynaldo Trevino and Sylvia Trevino. He is survived by his wife, Elida of Abernathy, TX, 8 sons, Ramon Trevino, JR. and Rene Trevino both of Lubbock, TX, Amador Trevino of Grand Prairie, TX, Demetrio Trevino, Ricky Trevino, Arthur Trevino and Armondo Trevino all of Abernathy, TX, David Trevino of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by 5 daughters, Aurora Cardenas and Adela Trevino both of Abernathy, TX, Rosa Lopez of Farwell, TX, Angelica Placencio of Plainview, TX and Renata Trevino of Canyon, TX, a sister, Erma Hernandez of Monterey, Mexico, 38 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
