Obituary of Kevin Russell

KEVIN LANE RUSSELL ABERNATHY, TX Services for Kevin Lane Russell, 31, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 10:00 am Thursday, November 13, 2008, in the Abernathy First United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Brownlow, pastor, officiating. Graveside services were held at 4:00 pm Thursday in the Archer City Cemetery, Archer City, TX. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Russell died at his home Saturday, November 8, 2008. He was born December 28, 1976 in Andrews, TX to Frank and Linda Gay Russell. He attended school in Andrews and was a member of the 1995 graduating class at Abernathy. He was a member of the Ampt Guard Renissance Organization and cherished his many friends there. Kevin is survived by his parents, a son, the love of his life, Michael Lane Johnston, his brother, Chuck Russell and his wife Amy. He and Chuck loved to debate issues, they called it conversation. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins to cherish his memory. Pallbearers will be members of his Nighthawk Ampt Guard Group, Brian Holt, Fleeta Scholl, Benjamin VanFleet, Richard Johnson, Sandie JonZander, Christipher Adrian Manning.
