Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX.
Mr. Barton died Friday, May 23, 2008, in Lubbock, TX.
He was born November 30, 1927 in Lubbock, TX.
He is survived by a son, Rodney Barton of Quinlan, TX, a daughter, Patricia Harrell of Abernathy, TX, a brother, John Barton of Phoenix, AZ, one sister, Eunice Hill of Tulia, TX 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildn and 2 great great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Vista Care Hospice, Lubbock, TX.
