Graveside services for Linda Gail Gragg, 65, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 26, 2006, in the Abernathy Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Don Cheshire, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Gragg died Sunday, April 23, 2006, in Lubbock, TX. She was born January 6, 1941 in Lubbock, TX. She graduated from Abernathy High School as Class Valedictorian in 1959 and was a lifelong Abernathy resident. She married Jimmy Gragg in Abernathy, August 29, 1959. Mrs. Gragg was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Abernathy Senior Citizens. She belonged to various Bridge Clubs and her passion was reading. She loved going to Musicals and was an avid fan of Texas Tech University Football and Basketball games. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Gragg of Abernathy, TX, a son, Roger Gragg and his partner Kurt Ortley of Dallas, TX, a daughter, Cindy Wilson of Lubbock, TX, 2 granddaughters, Kari and Casey Wilson of Lubbock, TX. She is also survived by her Mother-in-law, Inez Gragg of Abernathy, TX, a sister, Jane Huckabay and her husband Don of Lubbock, TX, and a brother, Frank L. Roberts and his wife Barbara of Abernathy, TX. The family suggests memorials be sent to the Abernathy Cemetery Association, c/o First State Bank, P. O.
