Obituary of Xavier Rene Martinez

Please share a memory of Xavier to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
"Til We Meet Again.... We are here to celebrate the life of our Xavier Rene Martinez. Xavier left us with 25 years of unforgettable memories.... Xavier was born July 18, 1991 in Levelland, TX but his life truly began on April 20, 2017. For those of you who knew him, Xavier was an amazing person. We will never forget his laughter which was down-right contagious, his friendship which was genuine, and his love for family was never ending. Xavier's greatest joy in this life was his son Zaedyn Aciano Martinez whom he shares with his wife Lindsey (Lilly). Zaedyn is a precious part of Xavier and we are so blessed that Xavier's legacy will live on in him. Xavier was a thinker, a visionary and an avid gamer. His love for music was where he found inner peace. He self-taught himself to play the guitar and he had just learned to play the keyboard. He even talked of traveling around the U. S. and Canada to experience all that life had to offer. If you couldn't find him, he was probably on a gaming binge in front of his TV playing "Battlefield" with anyone online. As a boy, Xavier was reserved and didn't venture out much, keeping to himself and a small group of family and friends but as he grew into a man he became more social and began to let his guard down. Xavier wore his heart on his sleeve and without a doubt - I can say, he was a momma's boy. But that's ok. Xavier's smile would light up a room! He was eager to forgive, slow to speak and quick to listen. He grew up in Shallowater, TX. Xavier played baseball, soccer and was in Karate when he was younger and when in high school, he played football and enjoyed wood shop class. Xavier had such high hopes of being successful and making his family proud. He was working towards opening his own plumbing business someday. Xavier was wise beyond his years and left an enormous impact on us all. He would want us to celebrate his life with great memories, love, laughter and happiness rather than tears and sorrow. He is preceded in death by Maternal grandfather, Omer Jacops, grandmother, Patsy Schoenfeld (MeMe), great grandmother, Alice Ridings (Granny) and great grandmother, Alma Caraway, uncle, Stephen Jacops, grandmother, Johnnie Cox and Cousin, Brittany Jacops. Paternal side, he is preceded in death by, grandmother, Diana Martinez (Wella), great grandmother, Demencia Martinez, great grandfather, Pablo Martinez, and great uncle, Domingo Silva. Xavier leaves behind his son, Zaedyn Aciano Martinez and his wife, Lindsey Frasier as well as, his mother, Tracey Farris, dad, Mike Farris, grandfather, Eugene Farris, sisters, Harley Farris, Ashley Eubanks and Chelsea Dille, brothers, Jessie McManus and Toby Maxwell. He is also survived by his father, Joseph Martinez (Jay), grandfather, Jose Martinez, brother, Christian Martinez and sisters, Fatima, Diana and Zoey Martinez. Uncles, Randy Jacops, Carlton Jacops, David Jacops, Gene Farris, Jim Ellison and Mike Diego. Aunts, Nelda Martinez, Marijane Hammel, Bridget Shirley, Samantha Jacops, Selena Jacops, Deborah Jacops-Lenard, Belinda Martinez, Rachel Martinez and Kimberly Jacops. Maternal cousins, Brianna, Tyler and Coby Jacops, Justin, Joshua and Kathleen Jacops, Chris and Jacob Rogers, Jennifer, Samantha and CJ Jacops, David, Andrew and Gregory Jacops, Jimmy Ellison, Johnnie Farris and Alexis Berry, best friends, JR Ortiz and Tyler Foraker. Xavier, you will forever be in our hearts and on our minds. We love you. For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that all who believe in Him will have everlasting life. John 3:16 MEMORIAL SERVICES will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Holy Ghost Victory Praise Church, 101 E. Tulane Street, Lubbock, TX 79403.
