I too have many fond memories of having the honor of being a student in her class. She was my very favorite teacher in elementary. Not only did she teach the "book" learning, she also taught by her loving ways. It was impossible to not want to please her with your best!!!! Please know that the family is in my prayers.

So many childhood memories of the Walker family from burying dead goldfish in matchboxs in the backyard to making mud pies with Gayla and being told by the brothers to leave them alone. Mrs. Walker was always so patient and kind as we went about just being kids. My thoughts are with you and ask that God will give you comfort as you go through the difficult days ahead. I am sure her life was full of many blessings as she also blessed others with her personality.

Mrs. Walker was my 4th grade teacher and was my favorite in elementary. I have such wonderful memories of the many activities we did. She was genuinely caring and sweet. I know the family will miss her terribly and wish you all my condolences.
