Thank you all very much from her family. Sad how someone could be diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis on a plane they can't remember the name of. As for Virginia, she was not the type to sit down for a long period of time and had flown many times prior and was very well informed on not sitting in a confined position for a long amount of time because of her many family members who were soldiers had informed her of the outcomes and even stated that the military recently, a couple years prior started making soldiers stand up, loosen clothing, and move around every two hours on long trips. Also, they came out with anti-embolism socks that Virginia had and the military EVEN came out with a pre-health assessment test to avoid any medical issues for long flights in which Virginia was considered as healthy as a 37 year old in a 41 year old body, never smoked, never drank, never obese, no family history of pulmonary embolism and the only one attached to the unit she was with and the only one who didn't make it home, got sick, on once again, a plane that no one could remember the name of, I guess they either got blind folded and given directions or the plane had no name, either way, no one could remember.

To Family and Friends, I am very sorry for your loss. I know you will miss her dearly, as well as cherish the many memories. It is times like these that we need comfort and support, and I look to God's Word for both. I find scriptures such as 2Corinthians 1:3,4 which shows how the God of all comfort, will give you the courage and the strength to cope. Psalms 55:22 assures us of God's love by encouraging us to throw all of our burdens on him. Acts 24:15 tells us that Jesus will soon resurrect our dear loved ones, and finally Revelation 21:4 says that soon "death will be no more". I hope these scriptures help you as they have for me. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in this most difficult time.

I met Virginia while I was working at convergys in Lubbock. I was having a particularly rough day. She asked me if I was ok, and I told her I was having a hard time. She smiled, and promptly said something so hilarious I couldn't help but smile and laugh. After that, we talked almost every day at work. I was sad when she took another job, but happy that she was able to do better for herself. I will always be grateful for being lucky enough to have known Virginia. I will miss her.
