Extending heartfelt condolences for your loss. I cannot begin to comprehend what you are going through, but do know that there is no pain greater than that of a parent losing a child. One that does know what you are going through and has the greatest compassion is our loving Heavenly Father. 1 John 4:8 says "....God is love". Notice that it does not say that God has love, but that He IS love. It is his very essence, his personification. That deep love moved God to send his Son as a ransom sacrifice on our behalf. God has promised at Revelation 21:4 that soon "death will be no more", and Acts 24:15 holds out the hope of the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death to a life free of sickness, violence and death (Isaiah 33:24, Psalms 37:10,11,29, Isaiah 25:8). Until then, may the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3,4), comfort you in your time of need. (tallchea@att.net)

We came to Lubbock for a visit and we were at my little sister's house. The boys, Devin, Michael, and Gabriel came to greed us. I hug them and when I got to Devin, I recently found out he was going to be a dad so gave a big hug and congratulated him. "Hey, said one of his brother, that a first he doesn't like to be hugged". That hug will forever be in my heart. Sleep peaceful sweet boy. God bless you.
