Obituary of Eddie West

Graveside services for Eddie Faye West, 82, of Hale Center, TX, will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 27, 2013, in the Hale Center Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. West died Friday, December 20, 2013, in Plainview, TX. She was born March 14, 1931 in Haskell, TX. She lived in Stamford, TX where she met W. B. "Dub" West, Jr and they were married December 15, 1950 and they soon moved to Hale Center. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church, including the WMU, was a Sunday School Teacher, director of GA's and she loved reading. She was preceded in death by her husband W. B. "Dub" West on July 29, 2007, a son Marice West and a Great Granddaughter, Catrina Riggs. She is survived by her daughter, Pam West, great granddaughters, Felicity Ramon and Val West, one daughter-in-law, Gail West, a sister-in-law, Mona Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be sent to the Hale Center Library or the Senior Citizens.
