Obituary of Paul McDaniel

Services for Evans Paul McDaniel, 62, of Canyon, TX, will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 6, 2013, in the Hale Center Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mr. McDaniel died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in Plainview, TX. He was born to the parentage of Orville McDaniel and Ruthie Lee (Walton) on April 29, 1950 in Tulia, TX. He was raised in Hale Center, where he attended Hale Center High School and was very active in sports. After school he started Little League Football and loved working with children and helping others. Paul moved to Canyon, TX and continued working with Little League Football. He would buy cars, restore and resell them. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and was a genuinely good man, father and grandfather and his deep christian faith led him to always try to help others.. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 6 brothers. He married Ora Ray, and out of that union was born 3 children, Dibiasi, Zonntag and Mirion Esau, all of which are left to mourn his passing. He also leaves behind 6 other children to cherish his memory; Patrich, Nathan, LaFonda, Taber, Shamiki and Mia and a number of grandchildren. Others he leaves behind are 5 siblings, Alice Malone of Happy, TX, Carolyn McDaniel of Abernathy, TX, Callie Acquaye of Plano, TX, Jeanie McKelvy of McKinney, TX and Jonathan Davis of Houston, TX.
