Ted Villanueva

Rosary for Ted R. Villanueva, 87, of Abernathy, TX were recited at 7:30 pm Monday, December 9, 2002, in St. Isidore Catholic Church with Rev. Arnold Bravo, pastor, officiating. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 10, 2002, in the same church with the same officiant. Burial followed services in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy. Mr. Villanueva died at his home on Sunday, December 8, 2002. He was born on January 15, 1915 in Violet, TX. He married Dolores Mendoza on August 19, 1939 in Odom, TX. He moved to Abernathy in 1964 from New Deal, TX. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Villanueva of Abernathy, TX. 3 sons, Juan Villanueva and Roy Villanueva both of Abernathy, TX. and Antonio Villanueva of Lubbock, TX. 2 daughters, Susana Gonzalez of Houston, TX, and Lupe Villanueva of Abernathy, TX. 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be sent to the Social Ministry at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Rt. 2, Box 159-A, Abernathy, TX 79311. Abell Funeral Home
