Aletha Sanders

Aletha V. Sanders went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 6, 2009. She was born to W. T. and Lida Vick on April 21, 1919 in Slaton, TX. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 8, 2009, in the First Baptist Church, Abernathy, TX. The family received friends at Abell Funeral Home, Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, W. D., daughter Gwen Howard and a sister, Gladys Clanton. She is survived by a daughter, Nelda Brown and husband Joe, and a son, Jerry D. Sanders and wife Marsha all of Lubbock, TX, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Abell Funeral Home
