Frank Roberts

Frank Lyle Roberts was born on December 11, 1934 in Crosbyton, TX, to Frank William and Catharine (Liles) Roberts. He attended Texas Tech University and then joined the United States Air Force, where he served for 9 years. He married Barbara Jean Branson in Gibson City, Illinois on October 22, 1971. He was employed as a technical engineer at Lowry Air Force Base for 35 years, retiring in 1997. He was a Mason and a member of the Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Gragg. He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Roberts of Abernathy, TX, a stepson, Alan D. Roberts of Denver, CO, a sister, Jane Huckaby and her husband, Don of Lubbock, TX, a brother-in-law, Jimmy Gragg of Abernathy, TX, several neices and nephews, Jackie Vaughn, Kevan Vaughn,, Cindy Wilson, Roger Gragg, Kurt Ortley, Terri and Clay Hodges. Cremation was under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Abell Funeral Home
