She was born on March 27, 1912 in Knox County, TX. She married Doyle Oswalt on December 17, 1932 in Clovis, N.M. He preceded her in death March 22, 1975. She moved to Abernathy from Lubbock in 1945. She was a member of the Abernathy Garden Club and the Church of Christ. Survivors; 2 sons, Joe Oswalt and Jerry Oswalt both of Abernathy, TX. 1 daughter, Sherley Foster of Levelland, TX. 8 grandchildren, Cindy Alexander, Steve Oswalt, Debby Tullis, Jeff Oswalt, Lori Wilson, Raeann Stevens, Alan Foster and Vickie Dickering. 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
