Obituary of Vera Lee

Graveside services for Vera Mae Lee, 96, of Hale Center, TX, were held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 20. 2009, in the Hale Center Ceetery with Silas Short officiating. Family visitation was held from 9:00 am until 10:30 am, Tuesday, prior to the service. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Lee died Saturday, October 17, 2009 in Plainview, TX. She was born March 30, 1913 in Nocona, TX and married Warner Marion Lee on December 11, 1937 in O'Donnell, TX. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1987. She was a member of the Hale Center Church of Christ and had been a Hale Center resident since 1939. She is survived by 2 sons, Ray Lee and wife Barbara of Plainview, TX, Gordon Lee and wife Paula of Grapevine, TX, 5 grandchildren, Aaron Lee of Plainview, TX, Mark Lee of Wolfforth, TX, DeShawna Johnson of Plainview, TX, Lyndol Lee of Grapevine, TX and Darren Lee of Flower Mound, TX , 12 great grandchildren and one sister, Norma Davis of San Angelo, TX.
