Services for Maxine Hosier, 100, of Bentonville, Arkansas were held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 11, 2006, in the Hale Center Church of Christ with Silas Short officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home, Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Hosier died at Bentonville Manor, Bentonville, Ark., November 7, 2006. She was born February 17, 1906 in Hico, TX to Ruth and J.V. Hail, Sr. She married William Sherman Hosier on December 24, 1924 in Plainview, TX, lived in Hale Center from 1922 to 2000 and was a member of the Church of Christ in Hale Center for 84 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, a son, Billy Ray Hosier and 9 younger brothers and sisters, J.V. Hail, Jr, Mike Hail, Billy Hail, Worth Hail, Kenneth Hail, Keith Allen (Pat), Christine Teague, JoAnn Stringer and Doll Federick. She is survived by 2 sons, Joe Dell Hosier and his wife Bobby of Bentonville, AR and Vaughn Allen Hosier and his wife Sherry of Kauffman, TX, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
