Hazel Healy

Services for Hazel Healy, 90, of Lubbock, TX, were held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 6, 2002, in the Abernathy First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Fred Connell, Rev. Darrel Roberts and Rev. Ken Horn officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Healy died Tuesday, December 3, 2002, in Lubbock, TX. She was born on February 5, 1912 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She married Joe F. Healy on December 20, 1933 in Clarksville, TX. He preceded her in death July of 1960. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Abernathy. She was a resident of Abernathy from 1950 until 1963. While living in Abernathy she was employed by Grahams Restaurant and the Abernathy Independent School District. She moved to Tucumcari, N.M. in 1963 where she was emplyed by Van Ark Nursing Home. She moved to Lubbock, TX in 1973 and was employed by Patti Cake Nursery. Survivors; 4 sons, Billy Wayne Healy of Jal, N.M., Henry "Hank" Healy of Amarillo, TX, Jim Healy of Genoa, OH. and Richard "Dicky" Healy of Grand Prairie, TX. 2 daughters, Virgie McGee of Lubbock, TX and Daisy Marie Lindsey of Alamogardo, N.M. 2 brothers, Happy Nash of Clarksville, TX and Cleo Nash of New Jersey. 1 sister, Marie Haigood of Lubbock, TX. 1 sister-in-law, Lucille Nash of Casa Grande, AZ. 27 grandchildren 44 great grandchildren 4 great great grandchildren Abell Funeral Home
