Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy. Mr. Guerrant died Monday, March 25, 2002, in Lubbock, TX. He was born on July 23, 1917 in Huntsville, TX. He married Elayne Halford on June 5, 1948 in Reno, NV. He served in the United States Navy before and during WWII for 7 years, serving as Chief Quarter Master. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Abernathy, TX, and the Abernathy Masonic Lodge, American Legion and VFW. He is survived by his wife, Elayne Guerrant of Abernathy, TX. 4 sons, Steve Guerrant of New Braunfels, TX, Larry Guerrant of Ft.
