Obituary of Baldemar Gomez JR

Rosary for Baldemar Gomez, Jr., 42, of Hale Center, TX was recited at 7:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2005, in St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, January 21, 2005, in the same church with Rev. Reymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial followed services in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery, Woodrow, TX, under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral in Hale Center, TX. Mr. Gomez died Saturday, January 15, 2005 in Waco, Texas. He was born October 17, 1962 in Hale Center, TX and graduated from Hale Center High School in 1981. He moved to Colorado in 1990 and had lived in Tulia prior to moving to Waco in August of 2004. He was an active member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church while living in Hale Center. He is survived by his parents: Baldemar and Georgia Gomez, Sr.of Hale Center, TX, two sons: Baldemar Gomez, III and Michael Gomez of Kerrville, TX, 3 daughters: Kristie Gomez and Angela Gomez both of Tulia, TX and Michele Gomez of Kerrville, TX. He is also survived by 2 brothers: Noel Gomez of Dallas, TX and Steve Gomez of Plainview, TX, 4 sisters: Norma Stambough and Sandy Gill of Lubbock, TX, Esther Wolford of Magnolia, KY and Lora Quintanilla of Hale Center, TX, 5 grandchildren: Logan, Layson and Emery Russell and Tristan and Travon McCaslin.
