Judy was a skilled crocheter and quilter, and she served as the curator of the Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum for over 15 years. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Judy was a talented cook who worked at Hi-Plains Hospital and for several local Hale Center restaurants. She also owned the Gingerbread House, a children’s clothing store, and drove a grain truck for the family farm. Judy, affectionately known as Aunt Judy, was known for her warm hospitality and her close bond with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
