I have so many special memories of Debbie, but my most favorite ones are of the times we spent together on the 4th of July. It started when Debbie invited me and Taylor to join her, Ray, and Matt at 4th on Broadway more than 20 years ago.. It became an annual tradition and the 4th became my favorite holiday of the year. We would make the trip up and down Broadway, sweating like crazy, visiting a few food trucks, listening to the music along the way. Then we would make our way to the park and stake out our spot where we played cards, listened to more music, visited more food trucks, and waited for the fireworks. Oh, and enjoyed a few ice cream sandwiches. I will never forget those special times with my precious friend and am so blessed and grateful to have had the chance to know her and love her.
